Recenlty arrived with a collection is this nicely done Mauser sporter. It has modest engraving, nice clean checkering; a beautifuly clear German Hensoldt scope that we belived to have been re conditioned so that it is brillianlty clear with unique and distintive reticle (will attempt to show pics of the reticle) It has a sporter barrel, very delicate slender forend with schnable and delicate slender wrist. Checkering has a double border and is clean and sharp. Monte Carlo comb with what appears to be ivory pg cap and ivory inlays on beautifully checkered butt. Bolt appeaers to have been reworked.
Barrel is marked 257 (not 257 Roberts however we have it a chamber cast done it is 257 Roberts)
Scope base is a one piece Redfield and it has what appears to be the base for a Williams receiver sight. Bolt appears to have been reshapped and bolt shaft is nicely engine turned .
