FINE Top Break Hammerless Revolver
Here we present a Harrington & Richardson Top-Break Hammerless Revolver in .32 S&W, made circa the early 1900s in Worcester, Massachusetts. In 1875 Gilbert Harrington and former Frank Wesson employee, William Augustus Richardson, formed the new Harrington & Richardson Company. In 1888 the firm was incorporated as The Harrington & Richardson Arms Company. Their original capital investment was $75,000. Harrington was president, Richardson was treasurer, and George F. Brooks was secretary. This 6-Shot, .32 S&W revolver would have been a nice size to wear on a belt-holster for a civilian and perhaps even law enforcement. Its hammerless design makes it smooth and less prone to snag on the draw, just what one wants when concealing.
The overall condition is fair. The nickel finish is 70% intact. The markings are clear and legible. The hard rubber grips are in good shape. The bore is clean and sharp. The action on this revolver is intermittent.
