Description:
Model RC4             Originally designed in conjunction with a Legionnaire who had expressed his desire in wanting a very powerful dagger to be made, for which he had sent a sketch to the maker, and after confrontation of many mixed ideas, Tanazacq came up with a definitive pattern. Incidentally, this legionnaire never took possession of his order and Jean adopted such piece by giving it the name of Colonial Route No.4, that of Cao Bang-Langson,(Indo-China conflict). However, it can serves as well as a mighty hunting dagger created solely for big game bow hunters, some of which had asked Tanazacq for a blade that will be capable of going to search for their arrows deeply embedded in a tree branch, stump, or even in its trunk. When ordered for such purposes, the tip of the blade is reinforced and delivered as such. Made only from D2 steel stock, its blade is 7" by a bit more than 5/16" stock ( 175/180mm pour 7mm epaisseur de la lame), guard and butt cap made from brass, handle made from thick layers of black micarta ( 100 EUROS extra). The main purpose of this blade is first to finish off an animal and skin it if necessary, (deer, wild boars, big game etc) with a proven design that is both strong and sturdy. The model RC4 is Tanazacq's most expensive knife.
