Description:
An all original model 1873 Trapdoor Springfield in cal .45-70. Yes it has a shootable bore - some pitting interspersed with bright shiny lands and grooves. Wood is estremely nice and solid. Exterior metal finish is a heavy dark patina - in other words not much original finish left at all. Will clean up much better than it is right now and we shall let the new owner take care of that.
Serial range is 33977x. I believe made in the 1880's. This is an antique so if you are over 21 and not prohibited from owning an antique rifle in your jurisdiction then you are good to go and we can ship it to you directly. No ffl or c&r required for purchase.
