Here we have a new, never fired, Shiloh Sharps model 1874 No.1 Sporter in .45-70 caliber. It has a 30 inch 14 lb half octagon barrel with blade front sight and adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. Shiloh only produces these heavy bull barrel rifles every 3-5 years and is currently not producing them. this makes for a long waiting list. This rifle was manufactured in 2016 and is available now with no long wait. This rifles has every available option starting with exceptional hand selected extra fancy walnut. It has the AA finish, an accent line on the cheek piece, a pewter color forend, brass escutcheons, and fire-blued and polished screws. The rifle wears a steel shotgun style butt-plate. It has bone and charcoal real case colors, a highly polished barrel, Schnabble on the pistol grip and pattern 13 simple engraving (simple border pattern). Half octagon barrels from Sharps are quite scarce with only a small number produced over the years. The rifle weighs 14.5 pounds and is new and never fired. It comes with a factory provided black hard plastic case and all original paperwork.
