It was intended for the European Market but discontinued as a production model in the 1970's except for Special Order. It has a canjar single stage set trigger. This rifle is a Special Order in Unfired Condition acquired from a member of the Weatherby Collectors Association and was not manufactured by J.P. Sauer. It has lived in a safe since the early 1980's. Commercial ammunition is available from Norma and RWS, and can be purchased from New England Custom Guns.
