Description: Mannlicher Shoenauer Model 1950 Rifle 6.5x54 MS caliber 18.5" Carbine length barrel Custom embellished by Roy Vail Roy Vail was a master gunsmith & engraver from Warwick, NY (1901-1979) He was maker of approximately 200 rifles and 150 shotguns He was selected by West Point to refurbish a pair of George Washington's ivory and pearl studded matching pistols, which are no on display at the West Point Museum He also produced shotguns for the like of Bing Crosby and President Dwight D.
