Overall condition of this rifle is good. There are some issues with the metal finish; such as some small patches of surface rust on the barrel and the receiver. The metal also has various handling and use marks. The stock looks to be in excellent shape as does the bore with crisp rifling and healthy shine.A tactical rifle for the individual on a budget; this Remington 700 SPS Tactical is ready for just about anything. The heavy barrel is threaded 5/8-28 for the attachment of a muzzle break or sound suppressor; should one decide to go down those paths. The Hogue Overmolded stock provides comfort, a sure grip with its rubberized surface, and aids in accuracy with its pillar bedding. The externally adjustable X-Mark Pro trigger can be tuned down to 2 1/2lbs for a trigger break that is light yet safe.
