Description:
Remington Rolling Block Target Pistol. Cal 38 S&W Short. 15" half octagon barrel with a very good bore. Mfg circa 1891. The barrel and sights, block and hammer retain 98% of a professional refinished blue. One piece walnut forend and grips rate very good having a repaired chip on the right side and a few light cracks on the left. The nickel plated frame rates very good being slightly tarnished and having areas toning to a brown patina. The gun is fitted with a skeleton buttstock which rates excellent. Mechanically excellent. This is a sharp little rolling block target pistol in a not so common caliber. Serial # 1.
