Description:
Here we have a really nice example of a Winchester Model 1876 in 45-60 caliber with a 28" Octagon Barrel with a Full Magazine and original sights. Rear sight is an adjustable ladder sight. The Brass carrier on the underneath of the rifle has 45-60 etched in the brass. Metal Cresent Butt Plate has the trapdoor in it and it has the original four piece cleaning rod inside the stock. Serial number is 54670 which puts the manufacture date at 1885. Wood to metal fit is perfect, this gun is original and has never been sanded or refinished. Wood has the normal nicks and scratches but does not have any cracks or splits. Gun levers good and cycles shells. I am not an expert on bores but you can see from the picture it has good rifling and it is pretty shiny. You won't be disappointed with this gun.
