Description:
This is an honest old Bisley in .38-40 WCF caliber that appears "Untouched". The metal is mostly smooth and the finish has turned a grey patina but there are traces of blue in the protected areas. The original grips fit perfectly and show little wear. The gun locks up tight and is in perfect time. The bore of the 4-3/4" inch 2-line address barrel is bright, and has strong rifling, but shows some minor corrosion typical of a gun this age. The gun was manufactured in 1901 and it looks like a cowboy, out on the range, owned it for most of his life. It has that "old west" look and would make an excellent shooter.
