Description:
The factory letter states that this gun was a "sample and display pistol kept by the Colt factory". Features fixed front and rear sights with polished stainless steel serrated spur hammer and grooved trigger, grip and thumb safeties and checkered walnut grips with nickel plated rampant colt medallion inlays on both sides. The right side of the slide is marked, "COLT'S GOVERNMENT MODEL", with the one line address and serial number stamped below on the frame. The left side of slide is marked, "COLT'S MK IV/SERIES '70/GOVERNMENT MODEL/.45 AUTOMATIC CALIBER" and is followed by the rampant colt in front of the slide serrations. Complete with factory letter.
