Henry rifle. Made in 1863. Barrel is nice and sharp with a dark gray patina. Frame is sharp and has a mellow patina. The frame is the early variant with the sight notch. The upper tang has an extra hole for a tang sight. Stock is a well made replacement. Inside the butt trap is a reproduction ram rod. Gun is all matching. Good representative example.
