Outstanding would be a realistic way of describing the condition. The gun retains, conservatively at least 98% of the original factory finish. There is some very minor sharp edge silvering, slight side plate wear and very small patch of pin pricks on the left side of the barrel. The balance of the gun is factory new. The grip straps have not even started to tone.
The left side of the slide is stamped Eagle/63, Eagle/63 & Proof Eagle. All numbers match including the grips and the magazine. The wooden grips are flawless. Not a chip, split or flattened point. The grip screws are undamaged. The slide rails, feed ramp and bolt face show just slight use. The barrel like the rest of the gun is pristine. The bore is sunshine bright with razor sharp rifling. Not a touch frost anywhere.
