Description:
***SOLD*** Colt MkIV/Series 70 Government Model .45ACP 1911 pistol, dated to 1982. This pistol features the classic 1911 operating system, with several high end upgrades and tuning that have made this pistol a true masterpiece of pistol smithing. The finish on the pistol is a hard chrome finish, with matching stainless controls and other small parts. The grips are finely checkered rosewood, and the sights have been upgraded to Bo-Mar target sights, with a green fiber front and adjustable rear. The barrel has been upgraded with a Kart match grade barrel, and the grip has been checkered on both the front and back straps, in addition to a sleek flared magwell added to the grip. The action has been tuned significantly, and the slide is glass smooth with a tight fit, and the trigger is a very crisp 2.5 pounds.
