SALE PENDING-This is a like-new Beretta Mato rifle chambered in the versatile 338 Win Mag caliber. These rifles were designed and made with Dakota as Beretta's foray into the sporting rifle market. They were designed on the Dakota 97 action. They are controlled round feed (CRF) with the Winchester Model 70-like 3 position wing safety. Most were built using Lothar Walther barrels, a highly respected maker of accurate rifle barrels. The rifle weighs approximately 7 1/2 lbs and has a 24" barrel. The rifles have detachable magazines hidden under a decorative floorplate.
This rifle shows as new, with no visible wear marks in the usual places. Even the muzzle is still blued. Included are Warne Maxima vertical-split rings (like Talleys) in 1".
