CIVIL WAR SHEBLE & FISHER U. S. MODEL 1840 CAVALRY SABER AND SCABBARD. 43” overall with 36” blade stamped on the ricasso “SHEBLE & FISHER / PHILADA”. Excellent example with bright blade and good markings. Mellow brass hilt. Original leather washer. Grip wrap restored and hard to tell from original. Very handsome. Scarce contract.
