LUDWIG BOROVNIK OF FERLACH (AUSTRIA) SIDELOCK SINGLE SHOT BEST GRADE 7X75R RIFLE, CIRCA 1980. Virtually un-used condition save some storage checks to wood from safe storage. 100% factory blue and same coin finish scroll engraving on sidelock frame. Mint bore and rifling 25 1/2" octagonal barrel with claw mounts(scope missing). Dbl set gold plated trigger(adjustable ). Wood with fish scale/oak leaf/ acorn heavy relief carving. Horn Schnabel forend cap, horn triggerguard, buttplate and pistol grip cap. Engraved coin finish bullet trap in butt. Sling swivels. Cheekrest. Weights 6 1/2" lbs with 14 1/2" LOP. Borovnik Ferlach proofs on underside. Came with a suite of 9 other guns in the exact same engraving/relief carving motif all within small serial range from 1980 when they were purchased in France and brought to USA same period. One owner who belonged to "Rust-Chasse-Mulhouse"(on top rib) hunting club and purchased whole suite through them probably. Correct Ferlach/Borovnik proofs on water table. 6.5 lbs.
