We are offering a Remington Model 11F Premier in 12 gauge, serial number serial number 84371 which has two barrels.
The gun itself shows finish wear in line with its age, primarily on the bottom of the receiver and grip. The round-knob stock has a Remington UMC butt plate and nicely figured wood. The forend does have small, often-found cracks on both sides of the receiver end as well as a crack through the front end. It also had rudimentary fixes to one of the alignment pins.
The first barrel, which shows wear in line with the rest of the gun, has a date code of “CY”, indicating April 1930 manufacture and is stamped with number 374868. It is marked full, has a Cutts Compensator, and Simmons vent rib. It measures 26-1/4” with the compensator. The choke attachment is marked “12 GA Spr.” (spreader). See images 14, 15, and 16.
The second barrel which has a matching serial number stamped on the barrel ring, shows very little wear. It measures 27”, is marked Full, and has a Polychoke adjustable choke, but It does not have the typical 2/3 digit barrel date code. It is marked D89 on the bottom (not visible with forend attached). See images 17, 18, and 19.
