LUDWIG BOROVNIK OF FERLACH (AUSTRIA) SIDELOCK BOCKBUCSHFLINTE BEST GRADE 16GA BY 7x65R OVER & UNDER COMBO GUN, CIRCA 1980. 25" barrels with 99% factory blue. Mint rifling and bore with shotgun barrel having a full choke. Missing claw mounts and scope. Coin finished scroll engraved side lock frame with un-turned screws. Pretty well un-used condition except signs of safe storage. Heavy relief carved forend and wrist with fish scales/ oakleaf/ acorn motifs crisp. Horn triggerguard and buttplate. Sling swivels. Cheekrest. 14 1/2" LOP. 6 lbs. Came with a suite of 9 other guns in the exact same engraving/relief carving motif all within small serial range from 1980 when they were purchased in France and brought to USA same period. One owner who belonged to "Rust-Chasse-Mulhouse"(on top rib) hunting club and purchased whole suite through them probably. Correct Ferlach/Borovnik proofs on water table.
