This is a rare 480 code Walther P.38 from 1940. All numbered parts are matching, including the grips, and the magazine is only one digit off! The bluing rates at about 60%, with thinning throughout but no corrosion. There were only about 7,000 of this variation produced with 480 code on the trigger guard, making it one of the rarest P.38 variations. The magazine is correct and original, with proper double E/359 stamp at base of spine. Like most of the early Walther P.38's, the small parts are waffen proofed. Excellent, shiny bore. Good mechanics, including de-cocker.
