This is a spectacular example of a pre-war Smith & Wesson Outdoorsman in .38 special, built on large .44 N-frame. It is in stunning 99% plus original condition with just a light cylinder turn line. The rest of the deep lustrous blue is all there. There is no pitting or patination anywhere. The gun is all matching, including original grips in excellent condition. Mint bore. It also comes with an original pre-war blue box, matching to the gun, with a faint serial number still legible on the white tag. A top condition set that cannot be upgraded. Includes factory letter from Smith & Wesson detailing the history on this gun and model.
