Reduced /// First series Winchester model 52 Sporter, the 52A. Has not been refinished, but was drilled for a side mount (Weaver?) scope base. Two holes that could be made to disappear by a good metalsmith. I left them thinking I would scope it someday. Has a mirror bore. These early 52A sporter had a different safety than the later versions. It’s at the left side of the receiver rather than the later side “slide” safety on the right. The original 7/8th inch Super Grade style sling swivels with sling are included.
