Description:
Overall condition of this reproduction is good. The metal finish has some spots where it has thinned from use such as some of the hard edges on the octagonal barrel. The barrel and magazine tube have some minor dents and handling marks but nothing that would impede function. The stock is certainly used with some mild scratches, dents, and dings. No cracks or other types of serious damage though. The bore looks to be in excellent condition with a healthy shine and strong lands/grooves. The sights have been modified by a/the previous owner so that now the front sight blade has a brass tube on it and the rear sights has been ground down significantly (see pictures).A modern reproduction of the classic Winchester 1873 rifle; model features a color case hardened receiver, lever, trigger, and hammer. The octagonal barrel is blued as is the buttplate and protection runner.
