Colt Peacemaker Buntline
According to history The Colt Peacemaker Buntline was commissioned by the dime store novelist Ned Buntline. Mr. Buntline commissioned these pistols to be awarded to four popular Western Lawman of his time,repayment for "material for hundreds of frontier yarns." The Lawman where Bat Masterson, Bill Tilghman, Charlie Bassett, and Wyatt Earp.
The biggest difference between a Colt Peacemaker and a Colt Peacemaker Buntline, is that the Buntline has a longer barrel.
This pistol is a .22 LR reproduction, made in 1976.
