Description:
This is a top class head turning clays or game gun or an exhibition centerpeice for a fine collection. Removable MX8 style trigger group, gold plated inside including cocking rod, V springs.  Beautiful coin finished fine bulino game scenes which spill off of the lockplates in the style of a true masterwork.
A pair of woodcock (one standing, one taking flight) in a woodland scene on left side, a fantatsic setter points two flushing woodcock on right side.  The setter retrieving a woodcock is on action bottom and is one of the finest bulino engravings of a dog I have ever seen in 50 years of collecting high end guns. Wonderful carved scrolls complete the full coverage.  A true masterwork.
The wood is double exhibition grade marbled and stump figured. There are light handling marks, I have shot the gun some and it is in excellent plus shape with limited use. There is a small surface crack on bottom flat of foreend just in front of the knuckle but not a serious issue at all.
1994 proofs- all SN match of course. 29 1/2 inch barrels, .027 (Imod) in top, .018 (Lmod) in bottom - .724 dia excellent bores in both -tight, ejectors timed, everything is order- great crisp trigger, non-selective fires bottom barrel first.
To order this gun today would cost well over $65K and a two year wait.
LOP = 14 3/8" over Perazzi pad, DAC = 1 1/2", DAH = 1 3/4". 3/8 in cast off. Dry weight=  8 lbs, 3 oz.
.
The workmanship is still truly superb from this Perazzi era.
