An early Remington model 742 Woodmaster in the hard to find 6mm Remington caliber.The barrel code is LK,designating a manufacture date of February of 1963.This rifle is in outstanding all original condition.It retains 98% of the original blue and wood finish.It retains the origina aluminum buttplate.The bore is mint with sharp rifling.The rifle comes with a one piece Weaver base installed.The rifle has the early style non checkered stock and the grooved forend which are correct for the time.This is a very hard caliber to find in the 742 as they were only built for a short time.A great rifle for mid sized big game or varmints.C&R eligible.
