Winchester 1892 .38 WCF caliber rifle. Manufactured in 1916. This is a very neat model 1892. This is a rifle that has been expertly customized to a takedown 16” carbine. The octagonal barrel is an original Winchester replacement. The engraving is all done in Winchester patterns but not by the factory. Bore is perfect. Action works perfectly. Gun has approximately 90-93% blue. The stocks show original wear and were probably for the rifle prior to the custom work. This is a really neat custom rifle that has a lot of thought and custom work done to it. It is a carbine that should be a pleasure to own and shoot.
