Description:
This is a WW2 era model 94 in the popular 30 WCF, or 30-30 as it is commonly referred. The S/N of 1380XXX places it in the WW2 era of 1940-45, when S/N records were not kept, and they were built with the flat barrel band. This gun is in exceptional condition, with 90% of it's original blue intact, with the only loss being in the cary area around the S/N. This is a 20" carbine with it's original sight package (including the front hood), and an excellent bore. All the script and other markings are crisp as day one, including the proof marks. The forearm band appears to have been cold blued at some point, as it is not as nice as the rest of the metal surfaces, and there is a faint scratch on the left side of the receiver. The stocks appear to be original finish, as they are proud to the metal. The wood has numerous tiny marks, mostly to the finish, with a light vertical scratch ahead of the butt on the right side. The original butt plate is intact, and in great shape.
