Description:
This is a Colt House Model 41 rimfire 5 shot single action revolver. There were only 2150 of these made and the serial numbers are all above 6,100 range. The serial number on this one is 7460. The mechanical function is very good and tight. The bore is very good, bright and shinny with strong rifling. The barrel retains 60% blue and the cylinder about 45% thinning blue. The grips retain 70% varnish. The Colt House Model is difficult to find. This one was made about 1875.
