Winchester "Black Shadow" lever chambered in 444 made New Haven, Connecticut plant before it was closed in 2006. They made only a few of these. This is a real find being an angle eject style ! Its truly a collector piece. Impossible to locate one. Rifle has no signs of pitting or rusting. A Williams FP-94 with front Fire Sight and optional gold rear peep has been added. Original box not included. Purchased it to go black bear hunting in mountains of North Carolina then never went. Shot 10 times at range with Hornady Lever Revolution 265 grain ammunition. A desirable lever action 20 inch barrel carbine to have in your collection. Retired for awhile and thinning out the collecton with firearms I no longer shoot. No twisted screws. All original screws there including filler screws. Never scoped. This is my personal rifle NOT a pawn shop special flopping around the bed of a pick-up truck. I was a FFL agent for over 25 years in Richmond Michigan. My drivers License copy will be sent to your FFL. Make sure they accept that ! When I took in a trade 99% time the seller or trader would not clean the bore. How stupid that was. That being said you will not find that with my personal firearms ! Shipped free.
