Chambered in the powerful .45-70 Govt. cartridge, the legendary Marlin 1895 Cowboy lever-action rifle proves versatile for every species of large North American big game. The 26" tapered octagon barrel boasts deep-cut, Ballard-type 1:9 rate-of-twist rifling. American black walnut stock has a straight grip, hard-rubber buttplate and a blue-steel forend cap. Aim through the adjustable marble semi-buckhorn rear sight and marble carbine front sight. This 1895 has a nine-shot tubular magazine and includes a Marlin leather slling.
