Description:
This is a Remington British P17 Enfield rifle in .303 British. The rifle has a reblued finish with military stock. Blade front sight with aperture rear sight. Receiver marked with serial number, Remington "RE" marking and faded British proofs. Stock shows some faded cartouches forward of magazine plate and missing stock disk. Overall condition is poor to fair. Some thinning and wear to apparently several layers of refinishing with some grinding on bolt for renumbering. Stock shows marks and dents consistent with surplus arms but appears to be free of serious cracks and splits. Bore is packed with cosmoline.
