Description:

Colt 1860 Army U.S. Marked. This is one of the guns that was refurbished after the Civil War. The guns were taken apart, finished and them reassembled with no attempt to put the guns back together matching. These guns were issued to the buffalo soldiers as cartridge guns were coming in and the buffalo solider always received hand me downs. Very nice gun with good history. Trigger guard is marked “U.S.”. Barrel still has thinning blue. Frame has a gray patina with some pitting. Frame is a 4-screw frame. Grips are good.
