This massive jar is 17” tall and 71/2 “ at the base and approximately 40” around center . Covered in a beautiful alkaline glaze with an expertly painted snake wrapping around the jar. This is very much a top tier piece of folk art by perhaps the premier folk art potter working today. Michel is at the top of his game and this Awesome Jug was purchased at his home sale a few years ago. This jar is in as fired condition, no damage . A very large piece which will be securely packed. check my feedback. Please email with any questions! I’ve included pictures of several indentions that occurred in the making of this jar, no cracks or hairlines, just very shallow “dents”.
