Up for sale today is a US Springfield Model 1892 Krag serial no. 11469 (1894 production) chambered in caliber .30-40 Krag. This excellent original rifle has an excellent bore. The rifle was rebuilt by the Springfield Armory and shows an update to the stock, the plugging of the clearing rod channel. The rifle has a readily apparent and clear cartouche, dated 1895, and shows excellent overall finish on wood and metal parts. An excellent rifle for any collection, and a great shooter as well.
