Description:
There were only 1000 of these rifles made between 1926 and '29. This one comes with 1 factory 5 round magazine, and has a bright, shiny, minty bore. Blue for the most part has been worn down to the metal in exposed areas from handling, but there is blue in protected areas and on the rear sight. The wood has almost certainly been sanded in preparation for refinishing, which was never done. That being said, the wood is very, very nice as you can see. No cracks or repairs visible to me. I rubbed the wood with Scotts Liquid Gold before I took the pics. Has the original checkered steel butt plate and undamaged butt plate screws. This is a sweet little shooter which was used and loved a lot by the original owners, and is a suitable candidate for restoration. $35 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
