Description:
This bridle recently came from the collection of a deceased friend of mine and appears to be over 100 years old from the age patina over it's entirety.  It is fragile, but intact and displayable.  I detached the reins, but the leather rein billets are intact and can be re-buckled to the bit.  As can be seen from the pictures, the reins match the headstall and are original to the set.  The Crockett bit is stamped on the inside of the side bar and the on the port bar and also appears to be original to the set.  The upper leather billet on the left side cheek strap is a quatily restoration / replacement.  All other billets are original.  I found no markings on any other parts of the headstall and the past history of this beautiful antique is unknown.  Most of these were made by prisoners in the western states beginning in the late 1800s.  They require hundreds of hours of work.  The price is $1,900 or make offer plus $50 FedEx shipping to anywhere in the continental US.  The stand is included and your satisfaction is guaranteed.

I also have an antique hitched horse hair quirt listed separately.  Please see my other listings.
