Description:
Here for your consideration is a nice, original 1939 JP Sauer stalking rifle in a very solid, single Kersten action, double set triggers, and a 60 cm (23.5 inch) half round, half octagonal barrel with a full length rib and flip up sights for 100 and 200 meters.  It has claw mounts and a fixed 4X Hensoldt scope with post reticle that comes with it.  The rifle weighs in at around 6.4 lbs w/o the scope mounted and slightly over 7lbs with the scope mounted and it has a length of pull to the front trigger of 14.25 inches.  Sometime in its life someone very expertly re-chambered it from a propriatary Sauer round to .257 Roberts.  Unfortunately, the way it was remarked on the side of the barrel was less than expertly done.  The other issue is that sometime in its past the butt stock checked in the middle, and was repaired.  The rifle has the original butt plate and all numbers match.
