HERES A RARE BIRD. I BEEN COLLECTING FOR 35 YEARS AND NEVER SEEN ONE. MADE IN 1887 IT WAS JAPANS FIRST MILITARY RIFLE I BELIEVE ? ITS IN UN-USED CONDITION. BORE IS EXCELLENT AND MECHANICS ARE EXCELLENT . IT HAS MOST ALL OF THE BRIGHT BLUE. WOOD IS EXCELLENT AND SEEMS TO HAVE ALL ITS ORIGINAL FINISH . MARKINGS ARE CRISP AND ALL THERE. EVERY PART ON THIS GUN HAS THE SAME SERIAL 10174 . GUN MEASURES 48" TOTOL AND BARREL MEASURES 30" . ANTIQUE. GREAT LOOKING ANTIQUE JAPANESE RIFLE.
