Colt introduced the .45 caliber Sheriff's Model Single Action on the new black powder style frame in 1985. These first .45's were in the SA68900 serial number range and they were nickel plated with 3 inch barrels. This pair, in the SA69000 serial range, were shipped as a consecutive numbered pair with factory ivory grips, and in keeping with the black powder frames, the grips have no rampant Colt medallions. These guns appear unfired and are in as new condition, complete with their original shipping cartons and literature. A fine consecutive set like this with pre-ban ivory would be very difficult to duplicate. PRICE: $6,000 for the pair, or $3,000 each when sold separately.
