3rd Model Lemon Squeezer w Beautiful PEARL GRIPS!
Here we present an antique Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless 3rd Model “Lemon Squeezer” Revolver, manufactured circa 1895 in Springfield, Massachusetts. The S&W Third Model was manufactured from 1890 through 1898. They were also known as the “New Departure” or the “Lemon Squeezer”, the latter due to the safety bar on the backstrap. This little revolver holds 5 shots of .38 S&W. It was designed to meet the defensive needs of citizens and law enforcement in the late 19th Century. This is a top break design with an automatic ejector, hammerless design and grip safety. These features made it great for pocket carry. This S&W Revolver features a nickel finish with blue accents and mother of pearl grips.
The overall condition is very fine. The nickel finish is 98%. The blue finish is 40%. The markings are clear. The numbers match. The pearly grips are in fine shape. The bore is bright and sharp. The action is excellent. Here is a fantastic .38 S&W Lemon Squeezer with lots of panache!
