Description:
This is a rare early Edwin Wesson buggy rifle. 18 3/8" heavy octagon barrel with very nice rifling. Looks to be 40 caliber. This rifle functions very nicely. All metal surfaces retain a nice brown / gray patina. Buttstock is in very good condition, showing normal handling marks. Set tigger works great. Engraved hammer / upper tang and silver flower in the left wrist. No other markings can be found. Front of muzzle is set up for a False Muzzel Cap. Very heavy rifle for the size, weighs approximately 10 pounds and overall length is just over 35".Please feel free to ask questions. $1695 OBO.
