Description:
Up for your consideration is a RARE all matching Mauser Code 42, 1940 Chamber Date Luger 9mm. As stated all numbers are matching including the original magazine. The original finish is in excellent condition with slight holster wear, but no rusting. Toggle is serialized "84" with the 42 Code. The upper left side of the chamber also has the correct waffen proof. The barrel features the correct eagle over 565 proof stamp, and is in excellent condition. Bore is sharp with good rifling and very light frosting but still shiny and true. Grips are near mint, with no dents or gouges, and are correctly marked inside with Eagle over 565 proofs. The magazine is correct and matching with an aluminum baseplate, and proper Eagle over 37 proofmark. Mechanics are FLAWLESS! With toggle locking up tight, safety and trigger working perfectly.
