RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION 30” OCTAGON .38-55 W.C.F. CAL. RIFLE CIRCA 1904. All original and complete in excellent condition. Full length magazine tube and 30” octagon barrel stamped “38-55” at the breech and Winchester address and patent dates stamped forward of the Winchester factory elevator rear sight. Factory front sight. Approximately 90% blue on the barrel and tube and 80% plus on frame with balance even dark patina. Hammer with most of the case hardening. 2x factory walnut stock and forend with the original finish. Two very minor old age checks in the wood grain abutting the frame. Aboslutely mint bore and extremely accurate and in perfect working order. With Cody Winchester Factory Records letter corroborating barrel as 30” octagon shipped in May of 1904.
