WW2 WWII INLAND DIV. U.S. M-1 OR M1 CARBINE, CIRCA 1945. Serial number "6,729,XXX. Barrel dated "1-45" under "Inland MFG Div." over "General Motors" with mirror bright bore and crisp rifling. Blue Sky Import stamp perpendicular to barrel address. "R" stamped front sight and period rear adjustable stamped "I.R. Co." over "7160069". Parkerized finish overall including bayonet hardware. Inland stock as evidenced by "HI" in oval cut sling well cut stands for Hillerich & Bradsby Co. who only made stocks for Inland. Heavy high gloss lacquer overall. GI green canvas sling and oiler. Perfect working order.
