Winchesters Model of 1885 Target Rifle Single Shot "HighWall" .40-65wcf., 30 inch Factory Octagon Barrel #3 weight. The serial number of this example is 59605 placing date of manufacture in 1895. Overall condition is very good with the finish toned to a grey / blue patina. The bore is near perfect with strong Rifling and shine from breech to muzzle. The bore will rate an 8.5 on a 1 to 10 scale. Wood to metal fit is perfect with a small hairline from crack at the upper Tang.
