Description:
Part of a Colt collectors estate. Large roll marked Series 70 National Match. According to the original owner, this 1976 Gold Cup (45 acp) has been tuned by the Ft. Benning AMU (Army Marksmanship Unit) gunsmiths when the owner lived there. It is in excellent shape, bluing is fantastic and is fitted with beautiful Colt logo burlwood grips. Comes with an UNFIRED Colt 22 Conversion unit including slide, magazine and tools.
Everything is inside a custom fitted black wood case with brushed nickel hardware and grey velvet. Has a separate drawer for the Conversion slide and magazine. Includes the original Colt boxes and paperwork for both the Gold Cup and the Conversion. The Gold Cup includes a new blued 8 round 45 magazine and the original five 7 round Colt magazines "tuned" by the gunsmiths. Each magazine has a custom fitted leather baseplate bumper stamped with numbers 1 through 5.
