Description:
This is a Weatherby Mark V rifle in .300 Weatherby Magnum marked "MADE IN W. GERMANY". The serial number dates to 1971. The action is in Excellent condition with the bolt shroud turning plum color. The barrel finish is Very Good with some wear and scratches at the muzzle and a wear spot on top of the barrel about 3 inches back from the end of the fore end. The stock is the classic Weatherby style with handling marks evident, particularly on the left side under the action and near the butt. The finish is not "checked" and condition is Very Good overall.The Weatherby ventilated butt pad is still present. This rifle is equipped with a Weatherby 2x to 7x scope marked "made in Germany" in side lever quick release mounts on 2 piece bases. The scope and mounts are included in the price of the rifle and will not be removed and the rifle repriced without them.
