SOLD PENDING FUNDS. Winchester Model 1886. S/N : 559xx Made in 1891. Fairly scarce 40-65 caliber. ( It was the 4th most popular cartridge after the 45-70, 45-90, and the 40-82. ) 26" octagon barrel. Someinial blue on barrel but not much. Receiver mostly a brown-grey patina. Wood had a coat of varnish added but as far as I can tell has not been sanded. ( but I am far from being an expert on such things. That's what was told to me when I bought it. ) No cracks but a very old forearm boo-boo that has in time become smooth from use. Crisp perfect action. Very good bore with only minor pitting. No buggered screwheadsinial iron sights. Will include the serial number search letter from Cody. Decent 128 year old Winchester. Starline sells 40-65 brass. Antique, no FFL required. Will be shipped with buttstock removed. $40.00 shipping.
